Today it is all about my favorite hair products. One and half-year ago I bleached my black hair to brown. The hairdresser I went to completely ruined my hair. He said in order to dye my hair, I have to under go a bleaching process, to which I agreed, because i was so keen of something new and this was the exactly change I needed. He left the bleach for almost 40 min on and after he dyed my hair it had a orange touch which obviously was not what I was expecting. I wasn´t happy with the result, because anyhow he damaged my hair to an other level. The consequences were strained hair and a lot of hair loss. Few months later I went to an other hairdresser and he told me that I didn´t had to bleach my hair to get the result I wanted. You can imagine how angry I was at my first hairdresser.
I had very long and thick hair. My hair was extremely damaged and dry and it started to break. I started using many products to make my hair look healthy again. Nothing really helped! To get rid of my bleached hair, I cut them a little bit every three months. I have very short hair now and I want to grow it out as much as I can before I have to chop the dead ends off.
So one month ago I was at a Pressday and got a consultation from Schwarzkopf Professionals. I explained them the state of my hair and they provided me with Schwarzkopf Professionals Bond Connector Fibre Force products to test. The products are for over-processed hair like mine.
So what is a Bond Connector Service?
This is how Schwarzkopf Professionals describes BC: As part of the Strong Bonds innovation, the Bond Connector Service offers the first strengthening regime with Bond Connector Technology, available as an in-salon and homecare service. The BC Fibre is used in 4 steps; rebonding, fixing, sealing and prolonging hair bonds to provide increased resistance to breakage even on the most over-processed or damaged hair.
Here are the products, which I currently use and work best for me:
1. Schwarzkopf BC Fibre Force Fortifying Shampoo
What the product says:
BC Fibre Force Fortifying Shampoo is a gentle yet strengthening sulfate-free shampoo for extremely weak hair to recreate bonds inside the matrix and seal the cuticle.
What I think of this product:
The shampoo has a lovely fragrance which makes my hair smell good whole day even after they have dried completely. Even without any conditioner my hair felt soft, smooth, clean and frizz free. The shampoo costs around € 13.90.
2. Schwarzkopf BC Fortifying Mask
What the product says:
BC Fibre Force Fortifying Mask is an intensive, rich repairing mask for the weekly care of extremely weak hair. Creates bonds inside the matrix and seals the cuticle. Strengthens hair fibres and adds shine.
What I think of this product:
After shampooing and rinsing, I apply this mask on my ends and leave it for around 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I rinse my hair clean and let it air dry. When I ran a brush through my dry hair, it is noticeably less frizzy, and so soft. The mask costs approx. € 24,80.
3. Schwarzkopf BC Fibre Force Fortifying Primer
What the product says:
BC Fibre Force Fortifying Primer is an instantly revitalising leave-in conditioner for daily care of weak hair. Strengthens hair fibres, perfectly seals the hair surface and adds shine.
What I think of this product:
The spray is an excellent leave-in conditioner. I apply the Fortifying Primer on my towel-dried hair and my hair suddenly feels very hydrated. The conditioner costs around € 17,30.
My hair is definitely less brittle after having used these products and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to give life to damaged hair. You can buy their products from their homepage and from their partner salons. Their partner salons are listed on the website.
I hope these products work well for you as they did for me.
Lots of love,
Gohar
