I own so many eyeshadow palettes that I hardly get the chance to use each one. But there are few palettes which I use all the time and will be buying over and over again. And I must say that if I like a product, I stick to it for the rest of my life. My very first Eyeshadow palette which I bought with my own money was the “Naked 2” from Urban Decay. I was in London for holidays and a friend asked me if I could get the Naked 2 palette for her. At that time Urban Decay’s products were not available in Austria. I found the palette pretty cool and got one for me as well. And I don’t regret buying this palette at all. This was the first time I got to know about the brand Urban Decay Cosmetics. Thanks to my friend – I hope she reads it 😉
Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette
It has a warm-toned neutral outlay of shades and is a perfection when it comes to a collection of neutral eyeshadows. I actually like the mixture of matte and shimmery shades, because I tend to go with very natural looks in the daytime and heavy sparkly looks in the evening. The palette is great as an everyday, subtle, wearable palette. I am glad that this was the first palette I bought when I started experimenting with eye shadows. You can actually not go wrong with this palette if you want an eyeshadow palette for everyday look.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette
My another palette which I can highly recommend and keep using is the Naked 3 from Urban Decay. I bought this palette again from the U.K. in my another trip. I use this palette mostly for special occasions and I love the shades. I’ve created some beautiful eye looks with this palette. When I first purchased this I was blown away with the quality, pigmentation, and performance of the shades. I have had this palette for a little over 3 years and I still don’t want to throw it away yet. So this is another palette which I keep using over and over again. After having such a good experience with Urban Decay’s products, I am thinking to get myself the Backtalk palette as well.
MAC Girls Power Hungry
My another palette which I love to use is the Power Hungry from MAC Cosmetics. I had been eyeing this palette since it came out and Lookfantastic kindly sent it to me to test it. It has warm, neutral tones and is a mixture of matte and shimmery shades and has a Highlighter too. The shadows are creamy, pigmented, and rich in color with little fallout and amazing lasting power. The shades are very pretty, perfect for soft or heavy looks.
These are my most used palettes at the moment and totally worth every cent. I love the color combination of each palette. I do have other palettes as well which are very recommendable and will do another Blogpost very soon.
