There is no doubt that when you want to look good, you have to take care of what you eat and drink. Honestly I am not someone who eats what’s healthy for me and what my body needs. I don’t eat vegetables or fruits that much. I know it’s a shame, right? But lately I am trying to make sure that my body gets the right nutrition. Here are some tips on how to get a healthy skin:
Drink plenty of water
I know this is something you already know. But water is very important for our body and skin. Hydrated body makes sure that your skin doesn’t look dull. It makes sure you look fresh. Glow from the inside, out.
Eat five portions of fruit and vegetables every day
Fruit and vegetables contain powerful antioxidants that help to protect skin from the cellular damage caused by free radicals. When it comes to eat fruits – I am very lazy. Therefore I make myself fresh pressed juices with my juicer (Multiquick J700) from Braun. I make my juices with apples, carrots, oranges and pears and it tastes delicious.
Use Sun Protection
Sunlight is the cause of at least 80 percent of the signs of visible aging, such as freckling, skin thinning, wrinkles and some facial lines, and can contribute to the development of skin cancer. try to avoid direct sunlight during the hours when UV rays are the strongest. And use a sun protection cream as well. I use a sun protection each day, even in winters.
Try to get a minimum of 8 hours sleep
Your skin rejuvenates and repairs itself mostly while you are asleep. Make sure that you get a sleep of 8 hours. And before going to sleep remove every Make-up and dirt from your skin.
Keep moisture in the skin
Skin moisturizers keep the top layer of skin cells hydrated and seal in moisture. So make sure that your skin is always moisturized, specially before sleeping.
